Today I took my little from Big Brothers/Big Sisters of America to the Earth Day Celebration downtown at Republic Square. We browsed the booths, had delicious velvet ice from Jim Jim’s (a great great place in Austin by the way), had her face painted, chased bubbles, painted tons of cardboard, swung on tires, made a clothespin doll (aka “peep”) and took her for elaborate peep rides. Basically, we had some good times bonding in the sun.
