So a patient of Lily’s gave us tickets to Akon for the rodeo Thursday. It’s funny because my Houston friends reacted the same way I did. “Austin has a rodeo?” Austin has a rodeo! I’ve never been to the rodeo, not even the King of Rodeos in my hometown of Houston. Akon tickets ended up being a bust but it was completely worth it to spend some time with some of my favorite girls AND eat FRIED FOODS. (I haven’t been to the State Fair in Dallas since 2002; I’m SO going this year to eat more fried foods.) Here’s some photos from that night. Drool away.
