Alan gave me a big happy surprise yesterday when he called me from his number. He’s suppose to be in Korea and I was expecting him back mid October maybe November. I was a little stunned and cautious when I answered and the punk was nonchalant.
“Hi. I’m at the airport, come pick me up!”
“What?!”
“Just kidding! I’m at the subway waiting to meet a friend ”
My heart skipped a beat. I was still confused as to why he’s calling me from Korea when we make due with IM and video chats.
Then he said, “I’m in Cali actually and I land in Austin at 5pm.”
“WHAT?!!”
“Just kidding!”
My mind was REELING. He. Kills. Me. He then said it again. “I’m in Cali and I land in Austin at 5 and I’m not kidding.” He sneakily decided to come back to the states without telling me til the day of. I was stunned and ecstatic! It was just sad because I had to go through the whole day itching to go home because I actually work my part time job til 10pm yesterday night. The poor girls at work had to hear me count down the half hours. Brittany happened to pick up a shift last night and she told me my excitement was contagious and she too couldn’t wait to get off so she could see Deesh. Haha :) aww.
I’m a happy girl.
This morning I woke up and I guess forgot he was here (seriously, it’s still surreal). I sleepily raised my arms to stretch and I was greeted with a high five. Haha.
He’s back!
