 1.It’s the last week of the month so that’s free topic week over at Totes Awesome Channel, and I have something really happy to tell you and something really sad to tell you. Youtube Link 3.I mentioned in my vlog that my car was stolen on Monday from my apartment. I have been pretty numb about it being stolen until last night when I tried to get gas in my rental and couldn’t figure it out and it was much more costly filling up the new tank. I started blubbering like a child about a lost security blanket. I was young enough and inexperienced enough to buy a new car so I loved that it had only belonged to me. Most likely I will always buy used from now on. It also was technically the most expensive thing I bought for myself excluding my college education and a source of great pride when I paid off the whole bill in a year and a half. Guys. I miss my car. 4.Seattle! I got in yesterday and have explored the city and gotten lost a few times with my BFF. We bought flowers for our Airbnb apartment and they are gorgeous. I still can’t believe they cost us only five dollars.  5.I’m still going strong with the 28 days of gifts for Alan’s 28th birthday. My favorite birthday surprise for Alan this past week is the painting pottery date.  For the next few days I have gifts hidden around the apartment for him to find since I won’t be there. Today’s gift is hidden in the washer machine. HEEHEE! 6.I’m really paranoid about cars being stolen now. I hope my rental is still at the airport parking. 7.This week’s moments of bliss: ♥ the beautiful flowers from Pike’s Place ♥ having sweet friends who leave me supportive notes through Facebook, Foursquare, Instagram, emails and text messages; they have really cheered a girl up ♥ how cute Alan was painting pottery ♥ seeing BDF a few times this past week ♥ I’m with BFF for the first time in over a year! ♥ Indian food date with BFF ♥ first pumpkin spice latte of the season ♥ getting into Seattle 6 hours earlier than the original flight plan ♥ not having to spend eight hours in L.A. ♥ SPACE NEEDLE ♥ the night of my car being stolen I curled up in blankets and watched Revenge and had headphones on so I couldn’t hear football; it was such a happy night for such a terrible day Tell me something good! |
