So before you click on the vlog, SO MANY APOLOGIES for the soundtrack being off. I am not at a place where I can fix it. If you want a trippy experience, watch it and listen to it. If you prefer not to have a trippy experience, just listen. I chat about how Google Calendar keeps me organized a long with pinboard.in.

Weekend of the Austin’s first Dishcrawl is here! We are sold out and I am so thankful for all the support from friends along the way. I’m floored by the kindness and generosity of my friends. If you happen to be reading, thank you for purchasing tickets, sharing the word, and encouraging me along the way!

Oh my gad, wish me luck!

This year is whizzing by! Seems like there’s always something looming that I haven’t tended to and then something looming after that. Our lease ends in exactly a month and we still don’t know where we’re moving. Right after Dishcrawl’s launch, I’ll be switching gears to helping the Austin Food Bloggers Alliance promote and plan their charity event* as I’m serving on both the PR committee and the philanthropy committee. Right after that is August which is VEDA month! At the end of August, I’ll be hosting my second Dishcrawl event. Then Suki comes for a weekend, BDF comes for a week after that, and then I’m off to Seattle.

PAUSE BUTTON PLEASE.

Today is barbecue day at work. We’re driving almost an hour out to have delicious barbecue. We do this once a year and forgot about it last year. Texans are serious about their barbecue. Here’s the post about the famous Kruez on my food blog.
