Hello! I’ve returned to the real world this week. I spent New Year’s in Arkansas with Sugarface and it was a bit of a culture shock to reenter the grind. If this was your first week back from vacation, I hope it went smoothly. Here’s this year’s first installment of Friday Feels, links that made me feel things. Enjoy!
- I made my 50 books in 2015 goal! My last book read, The Life-Changing Magic of Tidying Up was a great read if you’re looking for motivation to declutter.
- In fact, I talk more about Life-Changing Magic of Tidying Up in the latest episode of I Feel Better Podcast.
- This episode of Comedians in Cars Getting Coffee with President Obama was adorable.
- 2015 in photos. A bleak perspective.
- And to follow, 2015 wasn’t that bad.
- How to grow old with yourself.
- 26 tiny things you can start doing for yourself.
- The morning rituals that will help you feel happy all day.
- A job that nourishes the soul if not the wallet.
“…I could fixate on finding jobs that would help me afford beautiful universes small enough to hold in my hand. Or I could seek out work that would remind me that I was, wondrously, living inside of one.”
- These dads!
- This was a beautiful read about a friend.
- My friend Thomas sent me this link. He thought it was depressing. I thought it was motivating.
