 1.It’s April Fools’ Day and also my dad’s birthday today. I’m going home to Houston to spend some time with him. Can’t wait to see him! Am planning on recording him for some vlogs. If you have any topics you want me to give him, please comment! 2.I went out to a weekly karaoke event last night at a bar. My friend was belting out Cee Lo Green on stage when a random guy grabbed my friend’s drink off our table, threw out the straw and almost drank out of it. Quick to react, I grabbed the drink from him and told him it was not his drink and he must know that, otherwise why is he throwing out the straw? He didn’t say anything but I was still stunned that someone could be that cheap or broke or desperate for a free drink. 3.I got home pretty late last night and checked twitter and saw my friends over at VEDA (Vlog Every Day in August) are informally at it again. Cept, this time it’s Vlog Every Day in April! I was kind of in a bind as I didn’t have my webcam at Alan’s and I’m going to Houston straight after work. So I have a pretty off the cuff vlog with very minimal editing (I used Youtube’s editor to add two clips together.) Video is embedded below. Topic was “Best Prank.” 4.On Tuesday, I went to a launch party for Austin Food Blogger Alliance. It was fun to actually mingle in person with people I’ve tweeted with for a while. I’ve since applied for membership for Girl Eats World and am nervous about not getting in! 5.Regarding the previous take, I was a bad blogger and only took two photos at the launch party.
